How Do I Use Glidepath to Sell My Tokens Gradually?
Glidepath is an AI-paced exit strategy designed specifically for token builders. It lets you take profit in your own token gradually—fed back into the pool in slices so small the market barely registers them—instead of dumping your stack and crashing your own chart. This keeps your reputation and your price chart intact.
What Glidepath Is (and Isn't)
It is important to note that Glidepath does not pull liquidity. It never touches your pool's Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens. Instead, it takes the tokens you have earned (like creator fees) and sells them back into the pool in tiny increments sized by AI based on live market conditions.
How Glidepath Works
Setting up a Glidepath is a transparent process that balances your need for liquidity with the health of your token's ecosystem. Here is the step-by-step flow:
- Preview: On your token page, enter the amount of tokens you are considering selling. Bankr will show you a "what-if" preview, calculating what that stack would be worth at current prices and at much higher market caps. This helps you plan your treasury growth without dumping on your community.
- Commit: When you're ready, confirm the commitment. Your tokens are moved to a secure vesting wallet. You decide the terms; nobody forces a sale.
- Heads-up Window: Selling does not start the moment you click confirm. There is a mandatory window (approximately 48 hours) where the community can see the pending glide. This transparency removes the fear of a "stealth dump."
- AI-Paced Slices: Once the window closes, the AI begins selling. It monitors live liquidity and trading volume to size each sale. Every slice is capped to a small fraction of real liquidity. To prevent bots from front-running your exits, the exact timing of each slice is fuzzed (randomized).
Note: The AI sells at the current market price, not the higher market caps shown in the preview. The preview is simply to help you visualize potential treasury value as the project grows.
Transparency for Holders
One of the biggest benefits of Glidepath is reputation management. Instead of holders worrying about a "hidden float" or a developer dumping at 3 AM, they see a live "exit envelope" on the token page showing exactly how many tokens are committed, sold, and remaining. This transparency can actually be bullish, as it turns a "potential dump" into a known, capped, and visible process.
Canceling a Glidepath
You are never locked into a Glidepath forever. If you change your mind, the rules for returning tokens depend on when you cancel:
- Within ~30 minutes of committing: This is an "instant undo." Your tokens return to your wallet immediately.
- During the 48-hour window: You can cancel to stop the process before selling starts.
- After selling has started: Sells stop immediately. However, any unsold tokens are subject to a public 7-day cooldown before they return to your wallet. This ensures holders have a week's notice before you regain full custody of the tokens.
Any proceeds from tokens already sold during the glide are yours to keep; the 7-day cooldown only applies to the remaining unsold tokens.
Example Prompt
You can start the process by talking to Bankr directly:
"Show me the Glidepath options for [Token Name]"
